How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter Start and End Dates:
   • Select the start date in the "Start Date" field.
   • Select the end date in the "End Date" field.
2. Adjust Holiday Settings (Optional):
   • Click the Settings button to open the holiday settings modal.
   • Choose whether to Count holidays or Do not count holidays by selecting the appropriate radio button.
   • If counting holidays, check predefined holidays or add your own custom holidays using the "Add More" button.
   • Click the Apply Settings button to save your changes and close the modal.
3. Calculate: Click the Calculate button to compute the difference between the selected dates. Results will be displayed in years, months, weeks, and days. If holiday counting is enabled, the number of holidays within the date range will also be displayed.
4. Clear: Click the Clear button to reset all input fields and results.

Formula Used

The Date Calculator breaks down the difference between two dates into meaningful time units:

• Total Days: The difference in days between the start and end dates.
• Years: floor(Total Days ÷ 365)
• Months: floor(Remaining Days ÷ 30)
• Weeks: floor(Remaining Days ÷ 7)
• Days: Remaining days after weeks, months, and years are calculated.
• Adjusted Days: If holidays are counted, the total days are reduced by the number of holidays in the range.
